Moving Tips: How to get an accurate estimate?

Make a fully detailed item list for your sales representative. List every piece of furniture, for example: 3 cushion sofa, 2 side tables, 1 floor lamp, etc. List your boxes with the exact sizes, for example: 10 book boxes (16”x14”x14”), 8 medium boxes (16”x18”x18”), 15 large boxes (18”x18”x24”), etc. Please inform your sale representative if professional packing services are required. If partial packing is needed, please specify the items, such as: computers, TV’s, mirrors, glass or marble tops, etc. Delivery dates, your estimated time of arrival at your new residence – tell your sales representative if you need storage, regular delivery or a straight delivery! Additional charges will apply to your move if you have one of the following: stairs, elevators or unforeseen long carry of 100 feet. Tell your sales representative if you have any of the above charges. Please note that long distance carriers are not liable to relocate the following items: pets, live plants, ammunition, or any type of flammable gas.

Self-packing tips:

If you choose to self-pack your belongings make sure to use bubble wrap, newspaper or tissue in order to cushion contents. Because everyone has different storage needs, we have a customized storage system which is meant to accomodate any storage load, no matter how large or small. We are actually able to serve your needs equally, whether you need a place to store a few extra items or a whole houseful of furniture awaiting your new home. We want your storage venture with us to be worry and stress free. We provide up to 30 days free storage in our warehouse, if needed! Your belongings will be in a separate unit, in order to prevent confusion with other customer’s items. There are no re-delivery charges to your new residence! If your items are stored in our warehouse, please notify your sales representative at least 10 days prior to your designated delivery date!
