At Preferred Moving, we provide free estimates and go over in detail with all of our clients, their inventory lists to make estimates as accurate as possible. While most companies charge the final price in either cubic feet or weight, we give a more accurate quote which is known as a binding estimate. Our binding estimates are "price not to exceed" quotes that are guaranteed for transit cost based on the specific item list provided by each customer. There are other variables that affect final move prices, such as having more items, packing materials (boxes, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, etc.), extra flights of stairs, and long carry charges that may apply.

We are proud to give binding estimates, which are a much more accurate estimate of final move price than non-binding estimates, which most of our competitors provide. In order to stay competitive, we offer a price comparison policy that allows customers to call before their reservation with a quote from another company and we will give a discount to meet or beat the quote as long as it is from a reputable company.
